In San Diego, looking for an opportunity to hike, visit the beach, and maybe snap some gorgeous landscape/outdoor pics? Torrey Pines is the place to explore! Took an absolutely wonderful outdoor photography class (through the sporting good store REI) with Cam and his family a little while back. We met at the beach, and hiked through Torrey Pines in San Diego. What a gorgeous place! Was a perfectly clear, sunny day…hiked a trail up and down a hill overlooking the ocean with trees all around. Talk about perfect photo opps…and with a fantastic instructor who taught us tons of great tips! This is an awesome spot for some beachside photography and hiking! ~Kat (pics by Kat)

When I visit SD my friend takes me hiking from the State Beach parking lot, up the road, along the cliffs, and back down to the beach and parking lot. Beautiful and invigorating.
