(2 photos) Yesterday, March 26 2017, my three kids, their partners and I met for a drink at a favorite place in Corona Del Mar to mark the one year anniversary since my mom, their grandma, passed away at the age of 98 (and a half). My mom was a special woman, we were all extremely close, and she’ll forever hold a very dear place in our hearts.
After our gathering, I walked down the street to my favorite spot at Corona Del Mar, near the tidepools, and got these shots as the sun went down. Mom loved the ocean; she and my dad had a sailboat named Whisper. An earlier post about Whisper is linked here, if you’d like to read it.This post is in honor of my mom, Evelyn Hannah.
