(11 photos) I drove up the San Bernardino mountains to Lake Gregory yesterday morning to fulfill one of my summertime goals of kayaking there. The drive took just a bit more than an hour, which is basically nothing in Southern California drive life. The weather on the mountain was gorgeous, the lake smooth, deep blue, heavenly. I worked up quite an appetite and set out post kayaking to find a restaurant I’d seen on a previous trip, hanging on the edge of the cliff, Hortencias at the Cliffhanger. The mango margarita was one of the best I’d ever had, the Mexican food perfection, as well. I highly recommend both the kayaking and the restaurant! ~SueBee
