Rainy Day at Cal Poly’s Taste of the Farm Store

Yesterday, Kat, her husband, her girlfriend and I visited Kat’s univeristy alma mater, California Polytechnic University, aka Cal Poly Pomona. The Farm Store had an event going featuring fruit and vegetables grown on campus. The university is super cool, because being a polytechnic school, it features hands-on learning. The campus is on the site of the original Kellogg’s family (of Kellogg’s Corn Flakes fame) west coast Arabian horse farm. We had a great time sampling yummy foods, admiring beautiful flowers, and looking at the adorable farm animals. ~SueBee
