View from the Balboa Island Ferry

While taking a brief visit to the coast yesterday, I decided on riding the little car ferry from Balboa Island over to the peninsula. The ferry fits 3 cars. I chose to park mine in a nearby neighborhood, though so I could walk onto the ferry. I figured it’s good exercise, just $1 each way, and much more fun. I love riding the ferry… it takes me back in time as well as across the water! Once on the peninsula, I walked a few blocks to the pier, and the beach…. more on that in my next post.  ~SueBee
