Yesterday was quite the experience… being surrounded by hundreds of people after keeping myself to myself over the past 10 months. Yes, face masks were required, so I wore two! I was one of the lucky ones who got an email, after registering on the County website over a week ago, to get my first Coronavirus (Covid19) vaccination. My POD (point of distribution) was at Disneyland’s employee parking lot, just a few miles from home. Things were very well organized, the cool, wet weather was perfect for line-standing, the workers were so friendly, and even with a 30 minute observation time to make sure I wouldn’t get a reaction (allergic reaction to penicillin/codeine years back), I was home within 2.5 hours. I should expect an email by Febrary 20 to schedule the second shot. Hooray, one down, one to go!! ~SueBee
