My Backyard Squirrels in the Snow

I’ve been so entertained since living at my new house by the scurry (I had to look up that word!) of squirrels in my backyard trees. I’ve rewarded them their cuteness by buying sacks of special dried corn on the cob, and unshelled nuts. Watching them after the recent snow was especially fun. They’re really characters, some days reminding me of the Keystone Cops as they chase each other wildly up and down, round and round, onto skinny branches, nearly falling sometimes, and often dropping a prized ear of corn. To see a tiny squirrel grab the corn cob, rush up the huge tree, then leap to another branch, is a sight, I tell you! ~SueBee
