It snowed!

The “storm of the century” had been forecast, based on all the social media hype and apparently as per the grocery stocking-up that many seem to have done. We did get snow but I don’t think it was nearly what was expected. Perhaps 6″ in my yard, if that. The rest of the week looks to be sunny which means you know what for the snow. Regardless of when it will melt, I’ve been enjoying it, mostly from inside looking out. Taking the pictures I did as the sun rose was more than sufficient for my fingers to start hurting! ~SueBee

PS: You might notice a tray of seeds that I laid out for the squirrels and birds, rather than trying to get up the steps to where the feeders are. The tray from yesterday was nicely picked clean and then buried somewhere under the snow. What looks like tracks in the backyard snow are most likely from the squirrels and birds yesterday. I didn’t venture past where I set the tray.

Delightful views. I am happy that the forecasters were wrong for you.
