This is my very first foray into making an Assemblage Art piece. I started with the three items in the first picture and went from there. The name Time Warrior came about because, being 70 years old at the time, I wanted to represent how time gets away from us. The years fly by. The calendar pages are from 1953, when I was born, along with 1913 and 1917, my parent’s birth years. It doesn’t show well in the pictures, but there is copper wire strung in the box, holding the heart. I affixed old dress patterns to texture the box after painting it. The bird is a hope for peace in the world, someday. Time Warrior was completed in January, 2024. ~SueBee
