Looking for a peaceful botanical garden in Orange County that’s just the right size for a nice afternoon walk (about 1-3 miles, depending on route)? The Fullerton Arboretum, located near Cal State Fullerton, is a donation-only garden with a collection of over 4,000 different plants, lakes, and a Heritage House (tours are available Saturdays and Sundays from 2-4pm for $3). There are also a variety of events throughout the year, including a “Haunted Gardens” event perfect for the Halloween season! ~Kat
