At the beginning of this year, during the cold days of winter, I embarked on a new hobby. I’d seen something pop up in my Facebook feed that intrigued me and I investigated further. I had no idea Art Assemblage existed, or that so many people do create things from old and found items. I decided to give it a go, starting with things I had in my basement. By now, six months later, I’ve made the twelve items you see in the picture. I don’t have any particular plans as I start each piece, but let the various junk pieces “speak” to me as they evolve. I’ve been having so much fun making these, and even finished off an unused area in my basement to use as my studio. More photos and the story behind each piece will be coming soon. ~SueBee

hello! I just saw what I believe is your assemblage art on display at Clayworks art gallery in Hutchinson, Ks. I loved so many of the pieces. I didn’t see an artist name or card with the display but believe this is your art. Melvin the Cowboy and his Horse Fastrunner drew me in …. internet search brought me here.
The creativity and uniqueness of your art pieces is fabulous. Will be going back to Clayworks to see the art assemblage pieces and taking a friend.
Hi, yes, those assemblage sculptures on display at Clayworks are indeed mine. Thank you so much for searching and writing, and your compliment. That means so much to me.
I imagine my name will be indicated on the exhibit one day soon.
Good fun.
