For my Foto Fix of the day I chose one I took in San Francisco’s Chinatown, and converted to black and white. The laundry hanging on the fire escape behind the tea house sign created an interesting, very urban, scene to my eye. ~SueBee

While on a short vacation last fall, I drove down Southern California’s coast toward San Diego. Somewhere along the way, I saw a small community of mobile homes (manufactured homes) and drove through. This particular home caught my eye! ~SueBee

Today’s Foto Fix was taken on Highway 111, just off the 10, on the way to Palm Springs, California. The tires, part of a racing area for kids, are being swallowed by shifting sand. ~SueBee

This week’s Photo Challenge asks us to interpret Graceful, so I chose this spider web that I spotted at Descanso Gardens in La Canada Flintridge. While I’m not keen on spiders, I think their webs are quite beautiful and generally very graceful. ~SueBee
