I took a short vacation a few months back and explored the area along Southern California’s coast. Driving south from my hometown of Orange, there remain a few places that aren’t lined with housing tracts bumper to bumper. So refreshing! While keeping an eye out for art in public places as I drove along, I found an abundance near the town of Encinitas, even a trash bin covered in tiles painted by school children. I had to circle the block a few times to get the shots, but hey, I was on vacation, no need to worry about time!~SueBee

A splendid selection of colourful works. I liked the trash bin a lot.
Thank you. I thought the trash bin very far above most trash bins!
