This seagull and I had quite the conversation during my recent visit to La Jolla near San Diego. He was insistent I tell him whether his left or right profile was more photogenic. Honestly, I couldn’t decide… my focus was on his adorable knobby knees and overlapping feet. 🙂 What do you think? ~SueBee

This gallery features a little tour of the Point Loma Lighthouse on the tip of the peninsula at San Diego. I imagine it was a lonely place way back in the day, but certainly not these days. It was quite the tourist hot spot while I was there. ~SueBee

The sun moving closer to the horizon at day’s end lends the most gorgeous lighting that photographers dub the Golden Hour. It was a glorious one at La Jolla during my visit last Friday. ~SueBee

Today’s Foto Fix is one I took yesterday while visiting the city of San Diego for some kayaking and sightseeing. This picture was taken from the Cabrillo National Monument on the tip of the Point Loma peninsula. It was a spectacularly beautiful day and I have lots more pictures to share… coming up soon! ~SueBee

My choice for the Weekly Photo Challenge on the word Satisfaction was taken at the Orange County Fair. This entry, entered in the youth category, must have brought that girl or boy much satisfaction when seeing their gigantic lemon on display. It’s HUGE! ~SueBee
