While shopping in a vintage market in Wichita in April, 2023, I spotted this cute metal dog. I walked by, then retraced my steps and took a closer look. The price tag showed $20 and that sealed the deal. I bought him. In sharing to my Facebook page, it was fun to see the reaction of my friends. A couple of them thought I’d adopted a real dog when they first saw the post, before looking carefully at the picture. They didn’t realize I’d decided a few years back that my lifestyle and budget didn’t afford me having a real pet. The gallery below consists of photos shared with my Facebook friends over several months, with captions of the actual posts. ~SueBee
