No, this photo wasn’t rotated. Yes, he’s climbing a rock wall upside down. No, I don’t know how he’s hanging there! Although just after this picture was taken, gravity did finally exert its force beyond this man’s strength and skill.
I’m dedicating this photo to Kat who’s just recently taken up this very industrious hobby, and along with her boyfriend, joined a rock wall climbing gym in the area. I took this photo at the Brewery’s Stronghold Climbing Gym in downtown Los Angeles when I was there for the recent Artwalk. I never took to rock climbing, too scared. But I took a rock climber sailing once and he was frightened of one foot high waves.
I love rock climbing, and use to do a fair amount. But I was never that good!
