Rest in Peace, Daisy Mae

(8 photos) My oldest daughter’s sweet doggie, Daisy Mae, passed away yesterday at the age of nearly 13 years. Angelika, my daughter, is devastated and heartbroken. Daisy was a part of her life, our family’s life, since being a wee, tiny puppy. I never saw a doggie more devoted to her human than Daisy was to Angelika. Daisy Mae, you were one special, beautiful, sweet, smart doggie and will be held in our hearts forever. ~SueBee

Beautiful. I’m so very sorry for your loss of sweet Daisy Mae.

Thank you, Kathy. It was truly unexpected, based on what the vet had told Angelika…

This is always so sad. I know people who don’t want to have another dog after such an event because they can’t endure the anguish again in the future.

Yes, I do as well. I don’t know what decision my daughter will make in the future. Thank you for writing.
