(19 photos) Volunteers are scrambling these days to put the finishing touches on the gazillion flowers, seeds, bark, who-knows-what affixed to the floats for Pasadena’s annual Rose Parade on January 1st. I went to the after-parade viewing area a couple years ago. This blog post features some pictures from my visit, albeit a very crowded visit. The detail work is mind boggling. Just imaging gluing all those tiny bits in place, placing each and every flower. It’s like paint by number on a massive scale. UNreal, as my dear mom would have said. ~SueBee
