I’m sharing a couple pictures taken with my iPhone camera of a gorgeous monarch butterfly resting on the butterfly bush in my back yard, and beautiful orange roses clipped from my front garden. ~SueBee

Taking an evening walk along the Seal Beach Pier yesterday, I stopped to watch this fisherman getting his line ready and noticed a boat speeding right toward us. It managed a nice sideways maneuver and unloaded a worker from the oil platform visible in the distance. ~SueBee

This large metal sculpture was a very bizarre scene to stumble across in Death Valley’s ghost town of Rhyolite. Therefore, a good choice for my occasional Daily Foto Fix category. ~SueBee

During my visit to Pahrump, Nevada, last week, my friends toured me through the Red Rock Canyon area. To say it’s spectacularly beautiful is an understatement. I hope to return one day for some hiking as I’m sure the views from the top must be even more incredible. ~SueBee

In the ghost town of Rhyolite, on the edge of Death Valley, stands an unusual open air art museum featuring the ghostly Last Supper, created by Polish Beligian artist Albert Szukalski. ~SueBee
