Sunset Along the Coast

I happened to stop along the way while exploring the central California coast, somewhere near Pismo Beach, and captured this stunning sunset. That trip will be one for my memory books for awhile as I’m in the process of packing for a big move to the middle of the country, far away from any oceans! I bought a house on a half acre of land near family in Kansas, and look forward to making it my new home, starting in October. Packing is a lot of work, but in this case, enjoyable. I figured at 68 I still had plenty of energy left for yet another adventure. I sold my little mobile home itself, but not the land, as it sits in a senior citizen mobile home park. I so look forward to having a place that’s entirely mine. All the work I do in the yard will be for my gain, not that of the mobile home park. I’ll get some pictures up so you can share the journey with me! I’ll be changing my blog tagline and focus from “Everything Southern California… and sometimes beyond” to something else once I have time to think about it! ~SueBee
