Giant Pumpkins at the Fair

The town where I live in Central Kansas is the annual venue for the Kansas State Fair. I’m lucky to live outside of the fairgrounds neighborhood and therefore am not impacted by the huge increase of traffic with visitors coming in from all over the state. I decided this past Tuesday on getting a fairly early morning start to attend. I found a parking spot on a street just a few blocks from the fairgrounds, walked to one of the entry gates, bought my ticket (senior discount price of $6) and looked forward to a fun day. I wasn’t disappointed. I took lots of pictures with my iPhone and will share over the next several days. Today’s post features one of my very favorite exhibits… the giant pumpkins! ~SueBee

Sensational. Worth the entrance fee for them alone.
