Today, January 1, 2020, starts with a picture I took while visiting New Orleans in early 2018. The revelers partying it up on a balcony in the famous French Quarter seem apropos. Many wishes for a healthy, happy, joyful New Year… though perhaps not as much partying as my featured guests have done! ~SueBee

Cambria is more than just a beautiful spot along the coast. It’s also an adorable little village, full of shops to wander through, and restaurants to eat far too much in. As I walked to a cute back-street cafe for lunch, I spotted this colorful scene that I’m featuring for today’s foto fix. ~SueBee

These cheerful flowers are on a very steep hillside overlooking the Pacific Ocean in Corona Del Mar. We’ve had so many storms lately that I chose the few hours without rain to get out and walk near the beach. Many others had the same idea! ~SueBee

Today’s Foto Fix was taken a few weeks ago at Oak Glen. I’d hoped to see some fall colors, but the weather hadn’t yet allowed that to happen. Maybe I’ll take another drive up there this month… fingers crossed for cooler days! ~SueBee
