I found a second entry for the Weekly Photo Challenge, taken just over a year ago as I started hiking up the Lykken Trail in Palm Springs. At this point of the trail, I felt very optimistic I would keep up with the man and girl hiking ahead. ~SueBee

I chose this photo of a family gathered in the chilly evening hours at Newport Beach Pier, as their fisherman winds his fishing line onto the spool. The family, and particularly the little girl, is surely optimistic that dinner would soon be caught. ~SueBee
