During my visit to New Orleans this past week, I visited the Lafayette Cemetery in the Garden District. My entry into this week’s challenge was taken there and suits the challenge, I believe. ~SueBee

This picture was taken last Friday after work as I wandered along the shoreline at Corona del Mar. The setting sun catching on the tiny river of water running into the ocean caught my eye. With a bit of editing, I think the picture nearly looks like a painting. ~SueBee

Leave a coin, make a wish… today’s Foto Fix was taken at the Huntington Library and Gardens in San Marino, California. My previous visits, I never noticed the coins left at this statue. I’m not sure the history or reason, but hey, if we can wish upon a star, why not a stone mushroom!?! ~SueBee

With weather temps predicted in the hot range here in Southern California today, I felt a big of coolness would be welcome. This picture was taken at a favorite spot, the quaint town of Cambria on California’s central coast. ~SueBee

Taking an evening walk along the Seal Beach Pier yesterday, I stopped to watch this fisherman getting his line ready and noticed a boat speeding right toward us. It managed a nice sideways maneuver and unloaded a worker from the oil platform visible in the distance. ~SueBee
