For the best Margarita in town, or a carnitas street taco, or grilled corn on the cob, or green corn tamales….. I could go on and on, but suffice it to say that both Kat and I highly recommend El Cholo Mexican Restaurant. There are several locations, with the original being just west of downtown Los Angeles since the 1920s. I’ve been to their Irvine, Pasadena, La Habra and Los Angeles locations and found the meal (and Margaritas!) equally excellent at each. Service is friendly and attentive, atmosphere wonderful! In warm weather (yes, most of the year!), Kat and I especially enjoy the outdoor patio in La Habra.
Have you developed an appetite for Mexican food by now? Check out the photos (taken in La Habra) and your mouth will surely be watering!! And, as written on the patio wall of their La Habra location “When Life Hands You Lemons… Break out the Tequila and Salt”!! ~SueBee (photos by SueBee)
Been there and I can vouch for the Margaritas and every dish they serve!! When we moved to the east coast….Nothing here can match it! Thanks for the memories 🙂
Glad we could help bring back some of those memories! Thanks so much for your comment! ~SueBee
