Bocce in the Park

I was out and about in the Pasadena/Arcadia area recently, taking pics, and came across this group of men lawn bowling. They were so serious and intent on their game that naturally, they were the perfect photo subjects! Of course, the guy’s stars and stripes hat was an added bonus!! 🙂 ~Kat (pics by Kat)

A picture of concentration all round. I liked the hat too.

Hi Kat, first of all, great photos!! And then, I would like to add that bocce is very popular here in Brazil, and when you used the words “serious” and “intent,” they sounded so familiar. There are some things that are universal, and bocce is very likely one of them. Great post!!
