Cooling off at Sherman Gardens, part 1

Cooling off at Sherman Gardens, part 1 (8)

Selfie reflection on greenhouse entry door

Absolutely worn out from the triple digit temperatures and smoke in the air from numerous recent horrible fires in San Diego County, just south of us, I was drawn to the coast yesterday afternoon, and Sherman Library and Gardens in Corona del Mar. It was the perfect decision. I felt the cool ocean breeze as soon as I exited my little pickup truck. That put a smile on my face for sure! As usual, I took lots and lots of pictures, and chose the ones in this gallery because they appear tropical and cool. In reality, the greenhouse was so humid, I was dripping within a few seconds! I’ll let you enjoy them without the humidity. ~SueBee (photos by SueBee)
