Weekly Photo Challenge: Descent

As the gull makes his elegant descent from the lamppost, I was at the ready with my lens pointed directly at him… and then shifted quickly to one side so as not to obstruct his forward movement!

Our entry into this week’s photo challenge was taken at the Seal Beach Pier this past Saturday, after the rain. ~SueBee (photo by SueBee)Weekly Photo Challenge, Descent

Excellent shot! Love how the bird seems to be staring angrily at you. It must be wondering why you’re in its way. Or maybe it’s just sleepy 😀

I noticed that look as I clicked the picture… and quickly jumped out of the way!! 🙂

Good on you. If you hadn’t jumped out of the way, maybe the bird would crash right into your head. Great reflexes and timing 😉

Isn’t it a great feeling to catch a photo at just the right moment? Good one.
