These shots were taken of a very colorful buzzing-type insect, which appears to be a mosquito, at the El Dorado Nature Center in Long Beach. I don’t know either! My guess at mosquito type insect was only because of the long pointy thing off the nose! Oh, an insect person would have a heyday with my description!
