I treated my oldest daughter, Angelika, to a stage show at the gorgeous Segerstrom Theatre in Costa Mesa last Thursday evening, for a performance of Dirty Dancing. That had always been one of her favorite movies. Before she arrived from work, I wandered around, using my iPhone to take the pictures in this gallery. The theatre is in an area of office buildings, with the Noguchi Sculpture Garden being completely surrounded by them. It must be a nice place for a lunch break from work. Once Angelika arrived, we had a quick dinner nearby, and then found our balcony seats in the theatre. We thoroughly enjoyed the show, and were amazed by some pretty elaborate staging! Most importantly, the stage show didn’t spoil Angelika’s memory and love of the movie! ~SueBee
