This week’s Photo Challenge, On the Way, (“Share a shot of something you saw, did, or experienced on the way: a photo not of your destination, but of an interesting thing along the way”), features signs along the road as I drove to the mile-high town of Oak Glen in Southern California. These signs are reminiscent of the Burma Shave signs that were planted along Route 66 back in the good ol’ days. I remember seeing the signs when I was a young girl, as my brother and I sat in the back seat, looking out the car window, repeatedly asking mom and dad “are we there yet?”. ~SueBee
