(14 photos in gallery) I’m continuing from my previous post showcasing sights of Portland, Oregon, as I toured the city earlier this month. The most memorable shot on this particular day is the one below, of the older couple sitting on chairs placed right next to the street. As I was walking along, taking pictures, I suddenly heard a lady calling out “Miss, Miss”… it took me a few moments before I realized the lady was speaking to me. I approached her, and she said “would you mind taking our picture, please? You see, he’s being ornery today and maybe if you take his picture he’ll act nicer”. I laughed, and told her certainly, I’d be happy to. I snapped this shot of them, showed them the picture, and told the gentleman how nice he looks with a smile on his face. I suggested he keep the smile on for the remainder of the day. The lady thanked me and I wandered on. ~SueBee

The transport map looks a very familiar style to those used to the London Underground.
Most likely copied from there since I imagine London’s came first!
