(11 photos in gallery) Toward the end of September, I was in the area of South Coast Botanic Garden on the Palos Verdes Peninsula, and stopped for a short walk. It was too hot to cover much of the garden, but I enjoyed watching an artist at work, finding numerous benches hidden throughout, and the brilliant colors at every turn. ~SueBee
