Words for today: Watch Your Step. While it’s not great for anyone to take a fall, it can be particularly bad for someone entering, or smack dab amongst the golden years. Bones are more brittle, in spite of calcium tablets and yogurts daily. Bones break. Falling hard onto a cement sidewalk and not breaking anything is a joy. Oh, joy. I speak from experience, after going smack down, splat, today. It happened in slow motion… my shoe caught, I careened forward while telling myself, “don’t hit your head”. Luckily, while making good acquaintance with the sidewalk, my face didn’t hit, nor did I break anything. I saw stars for a minute, and came away with a torn knee on my favorite pants, a scrape on that very same knee, but all else good to go. So, remember these words of wisdom, and watch your step! ~SueBee

I try to remember that slogan every day. I am glad that you survived your fall.
Yes, I remember you’ve had your share of spills. Thank you. I’m also glad nothing broke, but my shoulders are sure sore today from catching myself. Small price!
