Weekly Photo Challenge: Ambience

My interpretation of this week’s WordPress Photo Challenge on the word Ambience has purposely veered off norm due to upcoming events in America this Friday, January 20, bringing fear, dismay, and anxiety. I took this photo while walking in downtown Los Angeles, the contrast a stark reminder of my fortune in life. ~SueBee

Lonely Man

Shall he pluck a diamond from the gown

spread layered petticoats to soften the ground

use bright colors for warmth as dusk pulls round

listen… hopelessness echos such a deafening sound. ~SueBee
