(18 photos) Yesterday I posted about the devastation caused by the wildfire near my home in Orange, California, and the fire’s impact to the natural beauty of Irvine Regional Park. Today’s post and the following one will feature photos of the interior of the park, the area thankfully saved by the courageous firefighters. The lake and boat rides, the little choo choo train, the zoo, nature center, historic buildings, pony rides, pumpkin patch, picnic tables, outdoor stage, western village, green grassy play fields, many beautiful trees…. Saved! I was thrilled beyond words as Kansas and I explored. Relief, joy! ~SueBee

What a splendid place to visit. I am glad that the fire-fighters saved it from destruction.
So am I. Two of the other local parks were completely burned.
What devastating fires, but thanks for showing us some places not affected.
