(17 photos) While visiting friends, Aranka and George, in Pahrump, Nevada earlier this year, they toured me to some fascinating places. With Pahrump, being situated between Death Valley, California, and Las Vegas, Nevada, some might think there’s nothing to see. Wrong! The area is dotted with interesting, unusual sights, one of which I’m featuring in this post. Called Cathedral Canyon, it was once a vibrant worship spot, long since fallen into ruin. Hidden in a gorge in the middle of the desert, you wouldn’t know it’s there. I was so intrigued I wandered all around, sensing an eerie energy of what had once been. ~SueBee
