A Weekday at Oak Glen

In early October, I had a day off work and decided to drive the hour or so up to Oak Glen. I’d hoped too see some changing leaves for Autumn, and also smaller crowds. Oak Glen has been promoted extensively in the past year or two, making it packed with people and losing some of its charm for me. I’m selfish, I want it as my own! I’m surrounded every day with traffic, crowds, hubbub. I found Oak Glen a nice, serene get-away. Anyway, enough complaining! I had a wonderful visit, but saw very limited Autumn color. It’s just been too hot… ~SueBee

A splendid place to visit even if the colour was disappointing.
