I made a beach journal while taking a break from holiday crafting because anything beach always makes me smile. Not that holiday doesn’t make me smile, it does, but my beach smile is a different one and I was missing it! ~SueBee
Information: Seaside themed Junk Journal with a vintage flair, featuring a flexible, soft cover of dark blue upholstery fabric layered over a file folder for stiffness. The cover features a small-scaled print of one of my acrylic ocean paintings, as well as a variety of laces and fabrics, including “Seas The Day” on fabric. The inside cover of the journal is a vintage blue and white quilt block. The journal measures 9″ x 6″, and has a single signature with a total of 68 pages, counting fronts and backs. The signature is hand-stitched into the spine and a fabric tie holds the journal closed.
Ephemera abounds in this journal, with lots of old-time pictures, collage pictures that I created, a variety of lace and trims, and coffee and/or tea dyed papers. There is a lot of space for writing. No outside kit was used to create this journal; all artwork was created by me, vintage ephemera is from my collection.
Great title for the post.
Thank you!
