Beach Time

I took an early morning walk, pre 8am, on the local beach this past Saturday, before the crowds hit. Now that our beaches have re-opened, again, this time with more safety measures in place, I wanted to take a look. Had there been crowds, I would have turned around and gone home. As it was, a mere handful of people were spread across the entire stretch of the south Newport peninsula. I had my face mask along, but had no need to use it. Social distancing was a piece of cake. As you can see in the one picture, though, there must have been quite a few partiers overnight, lining up their cans on the sand rather than putting them in the trash.

The joyful pooch fetching his tennis ball was certainly an example of how we’ll feel once the Coronavirus threat has passed and life can be a bit normal again. ~SueBee

Love the beach, the dog, and the sign! What a great day to be out!
