This is my newest journal, created just in time for Halloween. It’s a creepy, grungy, gothic, vintage, scary sort of theme, which I jumped into with both feet. I named it The Raven, for reasons which I think are obvious based on the cover. I used my own photographs, including the raven (picture taken in Palm Springs… the poor bird looked so thirsty in the 117 degree heat, so Kat and I filled a discarded plastic bottle cap with water and set it close by), various vintage ephemera from my collection, and other assorted things I created. The book has two signatures (sets of pages) hand-stitched into the spine of a hard-cover, adorned with brocade fabric, a 3D raven, crypt photo, netting overlay. It measures 9″ x 6″, is about 4″ thick at the mouth, and has a total of 80 pages, counting fronts and backs. If you’d like a more in-depth look, I made a video and uploaded to my YouTube page. The book is also for sale in my Etsy shop. I hope you enjoy, and are truly shaking in your boots once done looking! ~SueBee
