The Road Trip with my friends Aranka and George started in earnest on Monday, May 24th. We left Pahrump and drove out Interstate Highway 15 toward Mesquite, Nevada, and turned onto the Valley of Fire Highway. It’s quite a drive through arid desert hills before reaching the Valley of Fire Nevada State Park entrance… and then, bam, red rock formations start appearing! What a breathtaking place, and relatively uncrowded. It’s zoomed to the top of my list of favorite spots. More pictures to come… ~SueBee
