Here’s wishing all my blog friends and followers all the best, and a very Happy New Year. This picture features my “pup” that I adopted last year. Due to my living alone status, many of my friends often suggested I get a dog or cat. I personally couldn’t take the risk of medical bills which can really add up with a pet, in addition to boarding costs when I’m off exploring or visiting family. While wandering through a vintage shop in Wichita, I spotted this cute metal dog. He was on sale and cost less than $20 so I bought him. I took a picture and posted to my Facebook, saying I’d adopted a dog. I guess some of my friends didn’t see the picture before offering their congratulations. Many humorous posts ensued and thus started an ongoing bit of fun I’ve had arranging and taking pictures with my pup. I named him Mr Chips after my childhood best friend’s basset hound. ~SueBee
