Reflections fascinate me as much as shadows do. This one I find particularly tricky in determining if anything other than the stone and a few brown leaves are real, not reflected. Today’s Foto Fix is from my visit to the Bowers Museum this past Sunday during their May Day celebration. The group of dancers from Czechoslovakia were performing a children’s folk dance. I did just a bit of photo editing, focusing the colors on the dance group while the rest turned black and white. ~SueBee

As I mentioned previously, the gardens are so beautiful at The Huntington Library and Botanical Gardens in San Marino, that I have a near-endless supply of photos from my recent visit! This gorgeous rose reminds me of sherbet (which I’ve pronounced as sherbert my entire life, by the way)… yummy! ~SueBee

A visit to the Huntington Library and Botanical Gardens in San Marino yesterday, and wandering around the beautiful rose garden brings today’s Foto Fix. It was a delightfully overcast, cool day, perfect for all the walking I did. The roses have a vintage look, don’t you think? ~SueBee

Today’s Foto Fix was taken on the Seal Beach Pier at dusk. I like the style of the lamps, color of the sky, and the sun reflecting on the windows of the oil platform to the left and ship to the right. ~SueBee
