I couldn’t resist another entry into this intriguing theme. From my perspective, this photo taken on a main highway in Carlsbad, California, is a study in contrast if ever there was one… the old days versus nowadays. Traversing our country on foot, leading a mule, zipping across town in a speedy motor vehicle. Old-time, modern-time. Viewing the world up close and personal, viewing the world at break-neck speed. Taking time to spell each single rose, barely having time to think of a rose. In my view, a pleasant combination of the two is best. ~SueBee (photo by SueBee)
