First Snow

It’s so exciting to wake up to snow falling! After living most of my life in Southern California where the only snow fell in surrounding mountains, it’s so fun to look into my Kansas backyard and see white, fluffy stuff. ~SueBee

    Snow is a modified excitement now that I have reached the age when falling over is strongly deprecated. I hope that we will have to wait a bit before seeing any here but I know that magic feeling when you first see it.

      Being retired and having food and heat in the house, I am able to gaze out the window and enjoy it. In my younger years and needing to go to a job I would have been grumbling.
