While driving along the 60 towards L.A., I noticed an outdoor shopping center to my right (in the City of Industry). Craving a Thai Iced Tea and an Egg Custard Bun, I decided to explore the shopping center and see if my sweet cravings could be satisfied. I did find a delicious tea house and bakery (yum!), but while looking around, I noticed a very funny restaurant called “Magic Restroom Cafe.” I just had to snap a picture. Such a funny and strange name for a restaurant!
About a month has passed since I saw that restaurant…completely slipped my mind…until this article passed through the Facebook newsfeed:
My mouth wide-open while reading it, I thought “well, the name is definitely appropriate!” Everything: the food names, the decorations, and the seating arrangements, tie together to fit the very last thing anyone thinks about (or wants to think about) while eating: restrooms! However, from the various articles I’ve found, Magic Restroom Cafe is going to be a hot spot with a line out the door when it opens! Just funny knowing I snapped this picture well before the articles were even posted! ~Kat
