The gardens were nearly empty, the weather brisk, leaves having fallen off trees, but not yet swept away nor turned brown. Silence surrounded me, other than the occasional crunch crunch as I sought out leaves to step on. Approaching a small bridge leading over the creek, I paused. There sat this closely-nestled couple, the elderly gent’s red cap singing a wake-up call of bold color to the yellow blanket surrounding them. I changed my route, refusing to disturb their private enjoyment. In my mind I thanked them for creating a sweet autumn memory. I hope you enjoy today’s Foto Fix. ~SueBee
