Spectacular colors, using the sunset filter on my Nikon, looking west from rooftop of the parking structure at The Grove, 3rd and Fairfax. I find these photos reminiscent of Arizona’s seguaro cactus silhouetted against the setting sun.
Since acquiring my first “real camera” last Christmas, a Nikon D5100 with turbo lens, I’ll tell you, reviewing the hundreds of pics I snap can create nearly the same anxiety as during an eye exam when the Optometrist asks “one, or two?” This one, or that one? The left, or the right? Up, or down? Closeup, or far away? Good grief! Perhaps some of my fellow photographers can relate. At any rate, such was the case in choosing today’s Foto Fix! I vote for Sunset over West L.A. (3). I grew up in Arizona — there are seldom any sunsets as pretty as those in AZ, so when we get them in So. Cal. it is always a treat, isn’t it?
