In the Crosswalk

Today’s Foto Fix was taken from inside the car yesterday on Glendale Boulevard, driving towards the Angelino Heights section of Los Angeles. I’d had lunch with my son at an old favorite, the Red Lion Inn, a German pub/restaurant in Silver Lake, then was lucky to have him driving while we toured a bit of the area.Since the photo was a bit washed out from window glare, I decided to convert it to B&W. I liked the way the woman’s eye in the artwork along the wall is framed by the couple’s hands as they crossed the street.  ~SueBee (photo by SueBee)In the Crosswalk

Yes—glad you drew my attention to it—the framing of the eye! I’d love to see a cropped version of this photo—one that draws my attention to that detail!

Thanks for the suggestion. I generally don’t crop pics that I upload to the blog; not sure if Kat does or not. I might brighten up the color a bit, or change to B&W, but beyond that they are as I saw them. I will test it out with that photo as you suggested, though! ~SueBee

        I’ll stay tuned.
I appreciate knowing you generally don’t crop. I, too, like the “as is” approach (apart from cropping).
